Dr.
Raymond takes medicine seriously and herself lightly. Well respected
by her patients and colleagues, Dr. Patricia Raymond has a special
prescription for her fellow medical caregivers-- heal yourselves

Board
certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Raymond
earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in
1986. She served her internship and residency at Vanderbilt University
Medical Center in Nashville Tennessee, and completed her Gastroenterology
fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia.
Entering
private practice in Virginia in 1992, she now practices solo patient-centered
Gastroenterology, and is a Fellow of both the American College of
Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians. She has
chaired the ACG's Women in GI and Practice Management Committees.In
2004, she was selected as YWCA Woman of Distinction in Medicine
for Southeastern Virginia.
